Bassett Healthcare Network announced on April 15 the addition of Maximillian Lincoln, MD, to its orthopedics team. Dr. Lincoln is a double fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon who specializes in total hip and knee replacements.
The network said that patients may seek orthopedic care for conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, chronic joint pain, or severe bone injuries that could require total or partial joint replacement.
Dr. Lincoln earned his medical degree at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada. He completed his residency in Kingston and at the University of Calgary Faculty of Medicine in Alberta. His training includes fellowships in Adult Reconstruction Surgery at Sharp Memorial Hospital in San Diego and at Mount Sinai Hospital and Sunnybrook Health Services Centre in Toronto. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and has practiced medicine since 2008 with previous experience treating patients in Canada and Florida.
According to Bassett Healthcare Network, efforts are underway to expand its orthopedics services by adopting new technology and recruiting experienced providers like Dr. Lincoln to improve patient care.
Patients interested in learning more about hip or knee replacement procedures can visit the network’s website or call (607) 547-3652 for a consultation.
