Amsterdam City School District stood out in Montgomery County with 3,791 students enrolled in the 2022-23 school year, the most among Montgomery County school districts, according to the New York State Education Department.

Data from the New York State Education Department shows that 29.0% of Schoharie County students were considered proficient in Mathematics in the 2021-22 school year.
