Arnot Health announced on April 2 that its annual Children’s Miracle Network Radiothon raised $105,598.88 this year to support the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Pediatrics, and Maternal Services at Arnot Ogden Medical Center.
The event is significant as it provides vital funding for medical care, equipment, programs, and education benefiting local children. The money raised remains in the region to directly assist infants and children through improved healthcare services.
The two-day radiothon was held on March 26 and 27 and hosted by WINK 106. Community members, businesses, and listeners from across the Twin Tiers participated by calling in or donating online during the broadcast. According to Arnot Health, donations helped surpass the six-figure mark for this year’s campaign.
Casey Rose, Director of the Arnot Health Foundation, said: “Each year, we are inspired by the incredible generosity of our community. The funds raised during the radiothon directly support the care of our smallest and most fragile patients in the NICU, Pediatrics and Maternal Services. Because of the compassion and commitment of our partners, donors and listeners, we can continue providing exceptional care for local families when they need it most.”
The Children’s Miracle Network Radiothon is organized annually with help from Seven Mountains Media as well as local sponsors and volunteers who contribute time or resources to make it possible.
Arnot Health expressed gratitude to everyone involved in this year’s event for their donations or volunteer work supporting babies born in the region who need life-saving care from birth onward.
