Delaware County releases board meeting documents and committee schedule changes

The Delaware County Board of Supervisors has released documents related to its August 27, 2025 board meeting. The materials include information on the board’s adjusted weighted voting system.

A notice was also issued for a public hearing regarding Local Law Intro. No. 19 of 2024.

In other developments, the Economic Development Committee announced the cancellation of its scheduled meeting on August 6th. Additionally, an update to the county’s Strategic Comprehensive Plan is available.

The Human Resources Committee has rescheduled its meeting from April 2nd to April 9th, which will take place after the board meeting.

The county provided updates related to Tropical Storm Debby and a major disaster declaration in response to the storm. There is also a notice inviting bids for gravel by Delaware County Public Works.
