In the week ending Mar. 28, one gas station in Montgomery County sold regular gas at the lowest reported price of $3.59 per gallon, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
The county registered an average of $3.89 per gallon for regular gas.
Montgomery County had 19 of 37 reported gas stations offering regular gas.
Across New York, the average reported price for a gallon of regular gas rose to $3.82, compared to the week before.
U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
