On Friday, Feb. 28, former Little Falls High School standouts Beau Thoma and Matt Filippi’s current college team, the Bemidji State Beavers, lost 11-2 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the William Jewell Cardinals.

The game took place at Talley Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Cardinals this season.

The Beavers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 1 p.m. at Talley Stadium against William Jewell Cardinals.
