On Saturday, March 1, former Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville Central School District standout Von Baker’s current college team, the Rice Owls, lost 13-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Tennessee Volunteers.
The game took place at Daikin Park. This was their first matchup against the Volunteers this season.
The Owls’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 2 at 7:05 p.m. at Daikin Park against Texas A&M Aggies.
