On Saturday, March 15, former Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville Central School District standout Von Baker’s current college team, the Rice Owls, lost 6-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Houston Christian Huskies.

The game took place at Husky Field. This was their second matchup against the Huskies this season.

The Owls’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 16 at 1 p.m. at Reckling Park against Houston Christian Huskies.
