On Sunday, March 30, former Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville Central School District standout Von Baker’s current college team, the Rice Owls, lost 8-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the East Carolina Pirates.

The game took place at Reckling Park. This was their third matchup against the Pirates this season.

The Owls’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 1 at 6 p.m. at Don Sanders Stadium against Sam Houston Bearkats.
