On Tuesday, March 4, former Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville Central School District standout Von Baker’s current college team, the Rice Owls, lost 11-7 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Lamar Cardinals.

The game took place at Reckling Park. This was their first matchup against the Cardinals this season.

The Owls’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 5 at 6:30 p.m. at Reckling Park against Houston Cougars.
