Peter Oberacker, a New York State Senator, used his social media account to highlight recent events and political activities in his district over several days in December 2025.

On December 10, 2025, Oberacker announced the arrival of the Toys for Tots Holiday Train in his district. He stated, “This weekend, the @ToysForTots_USA Holiday Train will be making three stops in our district. At each location, you can greet the train, donate toys and take part in the holiday celebrations. For more information, check out: https://t.co/VOXdbwzGiN https://t.co/Q0V6Uv3SH6”.

Later that same day, Oberacker shared his experience attending a local political gathering. He wrote on December 10, 2025: “Had a fantastic time at the @BroomeGOP Holiday Reception. The road to victory in 2026 runs straight through Broome County, and last night showed there is real momentum.”

On December 12, 2025, Oberacker expressed support for a colleague’s campaign. He posted: “It was an honor to introduce my friend, my colleague, and the next Senator from the 51st, @ChrisTague102 . Since 2021, we’ve worked together to bring real common sense, or as I call it, country sense, back to New York. And like everyone who showed up tonight, I have full”.

Peter Oberacker represents New York’s 51st Senate District. Toys for Tots is a nationwide charitable program that collects new unwrapped toys and distributes them to less fortunate children during the holidays.
