New York State Senator Peter Oberacker, a Republican and Conservative party member, shared a series of posts in early April 2026 highlighting community values, awareness initiatives, and emerging technologies.
On April 5, Oberacker extended holiday greetings with the message: “Happy Easter! From our family to yours, wishing you a day full of love, laughter, and maybe a few chocolate bunnies “.
Recognizing National Autism Acceptance Month on April 7, Oberacker posted: “April is National Autism Acceptance Month—a time to come together to raise awareness and support individuals and families. Let’s take this opportunity to recognize and honor the dedicated caregivers who provide compassion, guidance, and encouragement to those navigating the”.
Later that same day, he addressed technological advancements by stating: “Cryptocurrency and blockchain technology are creating new opportunities for investment, entrepreneurship, and financial independence, especially for younger generations and small business owners. Let’s lead and not get left behind.”
Oberacker has been recognized for his contributions both in public service—such as his volunteer work with the C.H. Graham Hose Company—and athletics through his induction into the SUNY Delhi Athletic Hall of Fame (official website). He also focuses on rural issues like emergency services, agriculture improvements, broadband access, and infrastructure development. In addition to these efforts, Oberacker serves on several key committees including Agriculture, Finance, Higher Education and Labor.
