Assemblyman Robert Smullen, a Republican legislator from New York, recently used his social media platform to share updates about his campaign and personal reflections.

On December 14, 2025, Smullen extended holiday greetings by posting, “Wishing all those who celebrate a Happy Hanukkah! May these eight nights be filled with cherished moments with your loved ones.”

Two days later, on December 16, 2025, Smullen referenced an appearance on local radio and discussed the support his campaign has received: “I appreciated the opportunity to join Keeler in the Morning on WIBX Radio to talk about our campaign and the momentum we’re building. With more than 50 endorsements from local elected officials, this campaign is off to the right start and focused on the issues that matter to”.

On December 17, 2025, Smullen reflected on his previous role in federal government service and outlined his future ambitions: “Being appointed by President Trump to serve his administration in 2018 was an honor. Now, with your help, I am ready for my next mission: fighting for NY-21 alongside President Trump as a member of Congress.”

Smullen previously served as a Marine Corps colonel before being elected to represent New York’s Assembly District 118. His public statements have emphasized both his ties to former President Donald Trump and ongoing efforts within state politics.
