EMDESTON TOWN: Alice's Tea Party

Tea

Edmeston Town issued the following on Oct. 14

Alice's Tea Party

The Edmeston Museum will host “Alice’s Tea Party”, an exhibit of Alice Quintin’s fabulous china tea cup collection. The event will be open each Saturday beginning October 24 through November 21st, 9 a.m. to 12n.

Mrs. Quintin’s collection has grown exponentially since she first started as a high school freshman. While she does not have a favorite, each being unique in its own way, she holds a sentimental attachment to a turquoise pottery cup. It was a gift from her son-in-law who brought it to her from Japan.

There are many additions to “Alice’s Tea Party” that visitors can enjoy. Guests may put their name in a hat to win a tea-party themed door prize. The winner will be announced on November 21st. You do not have to be present to win. The museum’s collection of dolls will be set up in a tea party. A small coloring and activity pamphlet is available for the younger guests.

“Alice’s Tea Party” is free. All are welcome. The museum entrance is located at 1 North Street, Edmeston.
