Notice of Road Closure & Detour - West Main Street
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The City of Amsterdam announces that due to a water repair on West Main Street, the
following lane closure and detour will take place, Monday, March 20, 2023 at 7:00 a.m.
and will remain closed until work is complete:
- West Main Street/Rt. 5 - west bound lane will be closed between
- Caroline Street & Evelyn Avenue and traffic will be detoured at
- Caroline Street to Guy Park Avenue;
The following road closures will take place on Monday, March 20, 2023 at 7:00 a.m.
and will remain closed until work is complete
- Caroline Street – ALL SOUTHBOUND traffic from Division Street
- to West Main Street
Drivers are asked to take alternate routes during this time as no traffic will be allowed
through and detour signs will be posted.
