Whether you are a senior in high school searching for the right college for you, an adult learner looking to upgrade your job skills, or even looking to start a new career, SUNY FMCC can be your first step! Make the most of your future by joining us at our Open House on Saturday, April 1st at 10am to enjoy breakfast with our faculty, learn more about academic programs, take a campus tour, receive a free t-shirt, and more!

At SUNY FMCC, we offer a wide array of opportunities through our more than 35 degree and certificate programs, with professors who have first-hand experience and knowledge in the subject they are teaching. At Open House, you will learn more about programs that lead to high-demand, high-paying jobs in the region and beyond. In addition to our exciting academic programs, SUNY FMCC is an affordable option, with up to 85% of our students attending without loan debt. Students can also find out more about programs with special grant and scholarship opportunities that could allow you to attend tuition-free. You will also learn how our Career and Transfer advisor helps in seamlessly transferring to a 4-year school or how to use your skills to land your dream job.

Lastly, learn about our hands-on Individual Studies programs and Internship opportunities. In fact, “70% of employers offer ongoing, full-time jobs to successful interns” (https://techjury.net/blog/internship-statistics/#gref).

SUNY FMCC is also dedicated to enhancing student life through our many student support services on campus. With our newly renovated Evans Library and The Commons, FMCC offers dedicated areas for STEM tutoring (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math), as well as a space for our TRiO, EOP, and CSTEP programs, and a writing center. The Commons is also where students will find accessibility services and alternative testing. SUNY FMCC offers both peer and professional tutors in The Commons.

The second floor of the Evans Library is where students can go for traditional library services, in addition to our International Student Office, group study rooms, board games, and much more. SUNY FMCC is also dedicated to personalized academic advising to help students register for classes, with all our academic advisors cross trained for each program we offer.

SUNY FMCC also offers up to 15 athletic teams in the National Junior College Athletic Association, over 35 clubs and organizations, and a robust student life through our Student Involvement Office. Learn how you can get involved at our Open House!

These are just a few ways that SUNY FMCC makes a difference in our students’ lives. We invite you to join us at our Spring Open House to explore different academic programs, career and transfer options, athletic opportunities, and our superior student services.
