Of the 58,952 citizens living in Otsego County in 2021, 84% were old enough to vote, equating to 49,530 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 23,942 were male, constituting 48.3%, and 25,588 were female, making up 51.7%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Otsego County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 79%.
