Of the 29,936 citizens living in Schoharie County in 2021, 82.2% were old enough to vote, equating to 24,595 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 12,262 were male, constituting 49.9%, and 12,333 were female, making up 50.1%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Schoharie County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 79%.
