On Sunday, Feb. 23, former Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville Central School District standout Von Baker’s current college team, the Rice Owls, won 4-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the USC Trojans.
The game took place at Reckling Park. This was their third matchup against the Trojans this season.
The Owls’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 26 at 6:30 p.m. at Reckling Park against Arizona Wildcats.
