On Tuesday, March 25, former Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville Central School District standout Von Baker’s current college team, the Rice Owls, lost 2-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Lamar Cardinals.

The game took place at Vincent-Beck Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Cardinals this season.

The Owls’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 26 at 6:30 p.m. at Reckling Park against Texas Southern Tigers.
