On Wednesday, March 5, former Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville Central School District standout Von Baker’s current college team, the Rice Owls, lost 18-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Houston Cougars.
The game took place at Reckling Park. This was their first matchup against the Cougars this season.
The Owls’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 6:30 p.m. at Reckling Park against Yale Bulldogs.
