On Wednesday, Feb. 19, former Fonda-Fultonville Central School standout Derek Duval’s current college team, the Charleston Cougars, won 15-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers.

The game took place at Springs Brooks Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Chanticleers this season.

The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 21 at 4 p.m. at Patriots Point Athletics Complex against Seton Hall Pirates.
