On Wednesday, March 26, former Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville Central School District standout Von Baker’s current college team, the Rice Owls, won 12-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Texas Southern Tigers.
The game took place at Reckling Park. This was their first matchup against the Tigers this season.
The Owls’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 28 at 6:30 p.m. at Reckling Park against East Carolina Pirates.
