Cost of college went up for all students at Hartwick College

Tuition and fees rose 3.1 percent for 2018-19 at Hartwick College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

New York students paid $45,510 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $1,376 more than the $44,134 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 351 students received grants or scholarships totaling $11.7 million and 287 students took out student loans totaling more than $2.7 million.

Including all undergraduates (1,176), 1,169 students used grants or scholarships totaling $35.5 million, and 923 students took out $6.6 million in federal student loans.
