Oneonta City School District had the highest enrollment among Otsego County school districts, welcoming 1,723 students during the 2022-23 school year, according to the New York State Education Department.

Of all the students welcomed in the 2022-23 school year, 53.9% of them were boys, and 46.1% were girls.

Data also showed that the majority of students were white, making up 77.4% of Oneonta City School District's total enrollment.

Among the 12 districts in Otsego County, Otego-Unadilla Central School District ranked second in enrollment numbers with 788 students, while Cooperstown Central School District welcomed 787 students and ranked third in the 2022-23 school year.
