The first baby of 2025 was born at HealthAlliance Hospital in Kingston, New York. Goldie Rose Trapanese arrived at 2:20 a.m. on January 1, weighing 7 pounds, 7 ounces and measuring 20.5 inches.

HealthAlliance Hospital extended congratulations to the Trapanese family, expressing wishes for health and happiness for both mother and child. "Mother and baby are doing well and bonding at HealthAlliance Hospital," the hospital stated.

Rachel Trapanese is one of more than ten mothers who gave birth on New Year's Day across the Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth) birthing centers. Other WMCHealth facilities include Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, and St. Anthony Community Hospital in Warwick.

WMCHealth is a healthcare system based in Valhalla, New York. It operates nine hospitals over seven campuses within the Hudson Valley area. The network employs over 12,000 staff members and includes nearly 3,000 attending physicians.
