Montgomery County issued the following announcement on April 7
19 Lab Confirmed Positive COVID-19 Cases
5 Patients have made a full recovery, finished quarantine
9 Home based quarantined
4 Under medical care
Approximately 50 Public Health Quarantined Individuals Being Monitored*1 Fatality
(*Please note the quarantine number will fluctuate- as quarantine timeframes vary significantly. On any given day we can have a number of individuals complete their quarantine while others are just starting. It is very fluid.)
Please know we understand the curiosity surrounding the specific location of the positive cases however, we will not be releasing that information in order to protect the privacy of the patient and their family.
Also, with the increase in availability of testing we expect the numbers to continue to rise. We are closely monitoring the situation in our community daily. We request you PLEASE continue to follow the social distancing recommendations in an effort to diminish the heightening of the APEX in our area.
