After the regularly scheduled Delaware County Board of Supervisors’ meeting on September 28th, town supervisors joined DPW Commissioner Susan McIntyre for a tour of DPW’s three facilities project. Starting in Delhi, supervisors got an inside look at the new administration building, then headed to Bloomville for a look at the progress of the new highway patrol facility and ended at the new heavy mechanic facility site in Walton. Supervisors were able to see firsthand the footprint of each project and discussed each building’s use, construction, and project goals with Commissioner McIntyre and representatives from the design and construction team.
Delaware County DPW would like to extend its gratitude to the Delaware County Board of Supervisors for touring the facilities and for their support of the capital project which will ensure that Delaware County’s public assets and infrastructure will continue to serve residents, businesses and stakeholders well into the future.
