The Stamford Fire Department has scheduled a public hearing to discuss the inclusion of agriculturally viable land into certified agricultural districts during the 2024 thirty-day period for annual district review. This announcement was made in conjunction with several other notices by the Board of Supervisors.
A notice was also issued for a public hearing regarding Agricultural District #2, which includes the towns of Delhi, Franklin, Hamden, Meredith, and Walton in Delaware County, NY. The review is set to occur during a designated thirty-day period.
Additionally, there will be a public hearing on Local Law Intro No. 17 of 2024 concerning adjusted weighted voting by the Board of Supervisors.
The False Alarm Reduction Act is another topic that will be addressed in an upcoming public hearing.
Furthermore, there is a notice regarding a salary increase for the Personnel Officer under Local Law Intro No. 14 of 2022.
