The Delaware County Department of Public Works has announced that it is accepting sealed proposals for the rental and purchase of construction equipment, as well as for tree cutting and trimming services. This request is in accordance with Section 103 of the General Municipal Law of New York State.

Interested parties can obtain bid forms from the Office of the County Commissioner of Public Works, located at 2 Bridge Street, Delhi, NY. Forms are also available electronically by contacting Lisa Henderson at the Department of Public Works. Proposals must be submitted to James D. Thomas, Delaware County Commissioner of Public Works, by 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 13, 2025.

In line with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and its regulations, Delaware County assures that disadvantaged business enterprises will have equal opportunity to submit bids without discrimination based on race, color, or national origin.

Successful bidders will be notified promptly and expected to enter into a contract according to their proposal submissions. The county reserves the right to reject any or all bids received.

James D. Thomas stated that "the successful bidder will be promptly notified and must be prepared to enter into a contract for said item(s) or services in conformity with the information in the proposal."
