Delaware County cancels CDBG project hearing and announces other updates

The Delaware County Board of Supervisors has announced the cancellation of its public hearing initially scheduled for June 24, 2024. The hearing was intended to gather public comments on the County’s current Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) project: 317CVSB92-22, RAIL Grant, valued at $941,175.

In addition, Delaware County has designated a thirty-day annual agricultural district inclusion period for 2021. Residents with land currently used for agriculture and interested in participating in the program can submit requests between April 15 and May 14, 2021.

Other notices include the rescheduling of the Legislative Committee Meeting from May 1st to May 8th at 2 p.m., and an announcement regarding a public hearing on Local Law Intro. No. 16 of 2022, which aims to authorize a county registry for domestic partners.

Further updates involve another public hearing on Local Law Intro. No. 18 of 2024 concerning the Board of Supervisor’s adjusted weighted voting system, as well as information about the Innovative Readiness Training Program.

Lastly, it has been noted that the Legislative Committee Meeting scheduled for August has been cancelled.
