The Delaware County Department of Public Works has announced a request for proposals (RFP) for the rental or purchase of liquid bituminous concrete and related equipment. This announcement is made in accordance with Section 103 of the General Municipal Law of New York State.

Interested parties can obtain bid forms at the Office of the County Commissioner of Public Works, located at 2 Bridge Street, Delhi, NY 13753. These forms are also available electronically by emailing Lisa Henderson at the Department of Public Works. Detailed specifications are included within these forms.

Proposals must be submitted to James D. Thomas, Delaware County Commissioner of Public Works, by 1:00 P.M., prevailing time, on Friday, February 14, 2025. The submissions should be in a sealed envelope clearly marked on the outside. At this time and place, all proposals will be publicly opened.

The department assures compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and its regulations. It notifies bidders that disadvantaged business enterprises will have equal opportunities to submit bids without discrimination based on race, color, or national origin.

Successful bidders will be notified promptly and must be ready to enter into a contract as per the proposal's terms. The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
