Delaware County has announced an invitation for sealed proposals for the purchase of specific items. This announcement is made in accordance with Section 103 of the General Municipal Law of New York State. Interested parties can submit their proposals using bid forms available at the Office of the County Commissioner of Public Works, located at 2 Bridge Street, Delhi, NY. These forms can also be requested electronically by contacting Lisa Henderson at the Department of Public Works.

Proposals must be submitted to James D. Thomas, Delaware County Commissioner of Public Works, no later than 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, February 25, 2025. Submissions should be in a sealed envelope clearly marked on the outside and will be publicly opened and read at that time.

The Delaware County Department of Public Works emphasizes compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. It assures all bidders that disadvantaged business enterprises will have equal opportunities to submit bids without discrimination based on race, color, or national origin.

Once a successful bidder is identified, they will be promptly notified and expected to enter into a contract for the purchase or sale as per their proposal details. The county reserves the right to reject any or all bids received.
